Manufacturing Engineer is another top course in the career making. A Manufacturing Engineer has a lot of work to perform. Manufacturing Engineers have a major role in the research and development labs.  They have to supervise the production in the industries and at the same time it is to be tested.  They also go in for time and cost of the product.  Those Manufacturing Engineers who are in the sales line, even discuss the technical aspect of the product and can be very helpful.

There are many fields for Manufacturing Engineers.  You can take degree course from a recognized institution in more than twenty subjects and can become a specialist because all these courses have many sub-divisions also, so you can adopt any field according to your choice.  You can become engineer in Civil, Electrical, Textile, Chemical, IT, Environment, Material, Mechanical, Mining, Nuclear Technology, Gas and Petroleum, Ceramic, Marine, Architecture etc.

The important thing in any branch is to acquire a good degree from a recognized institute, which gives theoretical as well as practical knowledge as the same is to apply when you move out of the college.  They also have to obtain knowledge in computer programming because most of the industries are computerized and they have to do their work of research on computers.  They have to analyze the product on computers, they have to design the machinery on computers, and they have to make reports also on computers.
